i am madly in love with la casita de wendy. they are two designers, inés aguilar and iván martíneza, from madrid. they create a hodge podge of the sweetest prints, knits, clothing, home accessories and much much more. i have a few things of theirs and i adore them completely! aaaand great news!!! ...they are having a SALE right now! you should check it out.

A THOUGHTFUL GIFT.

we received the sweetest, most thoughtful gift from my friend sandi from adalou. she handmade and hand cut (hand cut you guys, out of wood... are you kidding me?) this incredible birdie sign and sent it to our little bird. the craftsmanship is incredible. sandi, you are so talented. thank you my friend!

STITCHED.

the incredibly talented lucky jackson from 365 lucky days, who i posted about here, stitched me yesterday. i am so incredibly honored that she would want to stitch me and i love how it turned out. lucky, you are so incredibly talented! thank you so much and of course you can stitch my little family any time you want to. xoxo.

how incredible is this cinemagraph by jamie beck?! so romantic and lovely. it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. jamie's work is incredible. you should definitely take a look.

so here's a little update on the happenings around the ol' bleubird house...

gemma bird loves to say "tee tat" (kitty cat) and "upp-pee" (puppy). she says both words all day long. it is the cutest thing ever, especially when she points them out in a book and calls them by name.

i picked up my wedding dresses from BHLDN yesterday. yay!

i am currently ripping yards and yards of fabric to make pretty things for our special day.

i just discovered that julian has bigger feet than me and i wear a size 10. he's going to be a tall one.

milla plum is busy rehearsing twice a week for her nutcracker performance in december. she is quite the little ballerina.

my "almost husband" owes me TWO back massages. oh yes he does and you better believe he's going to pay up!

frances farmer will be attending the wedding festivities... the other pets however, will not. we kind of play favorites with her.

my house is a wreck at the moment. stuff and mess everywhere! i am not exaggerating.

and that's about it for now. just finishing all of the last minute details and things for next week. NEXT WEEK!!!!!! only 11 days until i am a MRS. i'm so excited, i just can't hide it! xo.
