this place is a dream isn't it? and right in the heart of san francisco. it's the perfect combination of old classic style and clean modern lines. i love everything about it. well, almost everything. i think i would paint the orange wall white to match the others, but that's just me. i love bright white walls. and how about that exposed bath tub in the bedroom and that view?... incredible. there is some serious house envy going on right now. just a couple of days less than a month until our moving date. eek!

this home is a gorgeous and eclectic mixture of taste, old and new. another beautiful space from freunde von freunden. we are spending our free time packing up corners of our home this week. boxing up the things that we can survive without for the next month. making progress.

good news! our application was approved and we move into our new house march first. we are completely excited, anxious and terrified all at the same time. this house reminds me a lot of our new nashville home. bright white walls, hardwood, lots of clean modern lines and windows, lots of greenery outside... it is similar, yet so completely different at the same time.

now that we have a house and have given our notice here at our current place, things just got very real. we have seven short weeks until it's time to load up our moving truck and say goodbye to this old house, our dear friends and family and start the next chapter. as much as i dread having to sort through and pack up our belongings, i am looking forward to unpacking and starting over fresh in a new space. i look forward to sharing bits and pieces of the process with you all.

here is another beautiful home that i have fallen in love with. the tall ceilings, those gorgeous floors, the giant windows and that beautiful furnace... it really is a dreamy space. and can we talk about that 1940's french lamp in the first room for a minute. wow! i have always wanted to find one of those lamps with one, two or even three shades. such a romantic piece. one day i will find one.

i love looking into other peoples homes. it's so inspiring.
