here's a fun date night in idea for you and your loved one... how about making your own sushi. a little intimidating? maybe. a lot of fun? definitely.

here's what to do and wear (in no particular order)... one. put on a tinted lip gloss or lipstick. it's sure to make you feel pretty. two. wear a dress that is equal parts cute and comfortable. three. get a sushi making kit and all of your favorite sushi ingredients. (don't forget the wasabi!) you can get a little sushi inspiration and a few basic recipes here. four. pick up a bottle or two of sake. here's a quick guide to japanese sake. five. wear simple jewelry. six. light candles for a little extra romance while eating. seven. make fun toasts each time you refill your sake glasses. eight. slip on some cute flats.

have fun you two! sushi making is so much fun. relax and don't take yourselves too seriously. there will be plenty of laughter from the sushi rolling failures. don't worry, ugly sushi still tastes amazing. here's a great recipe for sushi rice. i would make the rice beforehand because it takes at least an hour.
