i have no clever caption or title. just wanted to share this photo that aubrey took the other day. even though i feel a little exposed, i quite like it. i might even have it printed and framed as a token of this pregnancy.

i found my card reader so i will be back tomorrow with bits + pieces, unless we are interrupted by a baby boy, but i have a feeling that he wants to stay put a little longer. one more week until he is due. i loved reading through all of your guesses for the name we chose. i can't wait to share.

HANGING IN THERE.

we are at 38 weeks and four days over here. just waiting for this baby boy to make an appearance. i have had a rough past couple of weeks, so i haven't gotten around to photographing any of my outfits to share with you. but trust me when i tell you they have not been worth noting. i have been living in t-shirts and slips and have been spending as much time as possible off of my feet. today however, i decided to brave a long walk to see if it would help move things along a bit. i have been having a lot of contractions over the past week. so many, in fact, that a couple of times i thought to myself, "hmmm, i wonder if this could be it?" but no. so here i am, just hanging in there, trying to rest up as much as possible between schooling and mommy-ing and waiting for baby "S", we think that we have him named. i would love to share it with you but i don't feel comfortable doing so until i see his little face and we make sure that the name fits. i changed both julian's and birdie's names once i saw their faces. julian was almost a riley and gemma bird was nearly a lucy, "lulu" for short, so you just never know for sure.

come on baby boy, we want to meet you soon.

BIRDIE'S FIRST HAIR CUT.

i gave birdie her first hair cut the other night while she was in the bath and distracted with toys. she got some little bangs to keep her hair out of her face. we think she looks pretty cute. it's hard to get her to sit still these days so these were the best shots i could get of her new do'.

sadly there are no bits + pieces today. i lost my card reader and cannot upload my camera photos. hoping to find it soon or i will have to run out and buy another one. hope you all have a lovely weekend. stay tuned for an awesome giveaway coming soon.
