we had such a good day! it was gorgeous and breezy outside so we home schooled on the porch in the morning and then took a break and went on a family bike ride and to the park around lunch time. the best part of our day had to be the homemade glazed donuts we made this afternoon. they were delicious! the big kids and i made them while birdie took her nap and when she woke up she was in donut heaven...

there's nothing better than a freshly baked, hot donut.

footnote: i haven't taken a recent baby bump picture and i apologize for those of you who have been waiting for one. we live in a crazy, hectic, always busy household and it's hard to find time to snap photos most days but i promise to take a few this saturday when aubrey gets back into town. i will be 18 weeks. 18 weeks already! it's kind of flying by this time around.
