someone or something has been eating my tomatoes. my biggest, ripest tomatoes that i have been waiting patiently to flourish have been completely hollowed out. at first i thought it was the dogs because some of the tomatoes looked like they had bite marks in them and a couple of my dogs love to chew on anything and everything, but after just a couple of days those bite marks turned into near perfect looking holes the size of a quarter in the tops of my precious fruit. i am scratching my head here wondering who the culprit could be and how to prevent this or these freeloaders from consuming my entire garden. i'm thinking birds but am not sure. they seem to only go after the orange and red tomatoes at the moment. if any of you have any experience with garden thieves and good solutions on how to stop them please let me know, i'm about to pull my hair out.
