AND SO...

...here i sit. numb, heart aching with tears running down my face after reading emily rapp's incredible story of love and grief. i cannot imagine the strength and courage it must take to be such a mother. my heart goes out to her. this story is sad but it is also eye opening and inspiring, and that is why i am sharing it with you here. i don't think i have ever read anything that has touched me so deeply. i'm off to give my kids an extra kiss while they sleep.

FARM DREAMS. PART TWO.

if you have been a reader of this blog for awhile, you probably already know that my dream is to move to a farm. a big farm out in the country where the kids can frolic freely for hours on end. where we can grow the most incredible garden and have chickens and a pot bellied pig. we've even talked about having a goat named steve. steve would need a friend. her name would be elanor. this sounds like heaven to me. i find myself looking at farm blogs these days, not fashion blogs. i can get lost in them for hours. they bring the biggest smile to my face. life looks so pure, so simple, so rewarding and something that i would love to give my kids.
