this morning we kissed and hugged papas goodbye as he headed out of town for a business trip. gemma bird said her first real word or at least we like to think it was real... she waved her tiny hand and said "tye tye" her little version of bye bye. it was a heart melting moment and there might have been a little happy tear in mama's and papa's eyes. she and i spent the morning together playing and watching the rain. hope you're having a lovely thursday! xoxo.
i adore this vintage 1940's dress. i bought it from my friend katie a couple of months ago and kind of forgot about it until now. i rediscovered it in my closet this morning and was so excited to wear it. the weather was amazing today, hot and muggy this morning with a nice surprise rain storm this afternoon. we have had very little rain this summer so every time it does everyone jumps for joy. there was a lot of loud thunder and poor gemma bird got a little frightened. poor baby, but it was kinda cute. i consoled her and then took her onto the porch to feel the rain drops. mighty cute if you ask me.
