SHOE LOVE.

i am in love with shoes, it's no secret. tonight i had fun putting together a little round up of some super cute kicks. these are hands down my very favorite shoes for summer...

A NEW (TO ME) DRESS.

these were taken last week while in the city. we we're on our way to dinner downtown with our friends from modcloth and decided to snap some photos before hand. this beautiful vintage dress is one of my new favorites. i see now that i should have ironed it before wearing, but oh well... i still love it! it was sent to me courtesy of lulus.com! did you know they had a vintage section? they do!!!

the evening was just lovely and i will share some more photos from our dinner fun a little later on. i still have so many photos from our trip to share with you. yep, i could blog for days about our amazing time.

footnote: many of you have asked questions about whether or not we cloth diaper anymore. yes, we do. we did not cloth diaper on our trip as it would be extremely hard to wash them. disposable just made sense.

I'M GILTY...

gilt groupe has been rockin' my socks off as of late. here are just a few things that i bought for my baby bird over the past couple of days. i have been dying over that petite collage wooden bird mobile since she was in the belly, so when i saw that it went up on gilt, i squealed with delight. also shi shu blankets are back! i always have to grab at least one every time they go up. seriously the softest lost luxurious bambino blankets out there and at a great price. i bought a few things for me & the mister this time around too.

HOME SWEET HOME.

this picture was taken at my friend giulia's lovely house on ocean beach in san francisco.

we just got home from what seems to be the longest trip ever. it's funny because i was really sad to be leaving my friends and family in california and i didn't think that i would be happy to be home, but i am. the smell of our house, the comfort of my living room couch. i will sleep well tonight for sure. birdie traveled like a champ. i'm excited to share some really useful infant travel tips with you all within the next few days.
