twenty eight. weeks. old.

my littlest bird is 28 weeks today. whoopie! she's also not feeling so good. we's got the flu as i've mentioned before... i will say that she is in a grrreat mood considering her beastly cough and non-stop runny nose. she has made this hard week a lot easier on mama and i am so appreciative. shes been extra cuddly while being sick too, so i am just soakin' up all this love. we did have a few nights of very little sleep where she was waking up about every half an hour to nurse, but last night she slept like a super star so i am pretty well rested. teething is happening, i can see those two bottom biters just trying to push through. i'd give it another week or so and they will probably be making an appearance. not too too many new milestones this week, she's just been a little more independent. she can sit on the floor and play with toys by herself for sometimes 45 minutes or more. it's really nice. i can't wait for this flu to pass so i can really take advantage. i have the busiest week ahead of me and a couple of sewing projects that i'd like to work on too. she has been a lot more curious also which is just all kinds of cute. if she hears a strange sound she gets this little puzzled look on her face and she wants to hold everything and to examin it before putting it into her slobbery mouth. it's pretty dang cute!
