BLEUBIRD BLOG: October 2010

7:00am - the alarm goes off. i wake up then super quietly and carefully sneak out of bed so i don't wake the sleeping baby. (good morning!) i go potty and brush my teeth. check the computer real quick for important or expected emails and read blog comments that came while i was asleep.

7:15am - i wake up aubrey. i wake up the kiddos. i let the baby sleep more.

7:20am - the kiddos are dressed and they come downstairs for breakfast. this morning papas went to shipleys and surprised us with donuts and kohlaches. yum!

7:40am - the kiddos brush their teeth. i comb their hair and kiss them good bye. they wave i love you signs as they walk to the car. aubrey drives them to school every day.

7:45am - the baby bird wakes up! i feed her and change her wet diaper.

8:00am - we have some play time on gemma's nursery floor and read a little book.

8:20am - i get gemma dressed and put her in her stroller for our morning walk to the coffee shop.

8:30am - we walk with papas to get coffee at our neighborhood coffee shop. i love these cool morning walks. our neighborhood is so pretty.

8:40am - we order our coffee (mama: vanilla soy latte with one pump. papa: house blend with cream and sugar.) and i get a ham and cheese croissant.

8:45am - we sip our coffee and chit chat about the day ahead.

9:10am - we walk home. little gemma falls asleep in her stroller and when we get back i lay her down for her morning nap.

9:25am - i take a shower and get all fresh and clean. yay!

10:00am - after i get dressed and ready for the day i go down stairs to wash her dirty diapers and do a little blogging before gemma wakes up from her nap.

10:30am - after i finish blogging gemma's still sleeping soundly so i decide to use the extra time to do some sewing. i love to sew.

11:00am - gemma wakes up from her morning nap. (i missed her.) i put a record on and then hang her cloth diapers to dry.

11:45am - time for lunch! papa, the bird and i go on a little lunch date at dry creek, a cute cafe by our house. pap orderd the shrimp basket and i get the ahi tuna salad and a chai.

12:30pm - after lunch we go thrifting. my home away from home! i find a pretty vintage coat, a few dresses and some cute stuff for the house.

1:30pm - we return home and gemma goes for a little ride in her new swing. she rocks back and fourth and quickly falls asleep. i do a little computer work.

2:45pm - she's awake. i change her diaper and then have some afternoon playtime in her crib while papas goes to pick up the kiddos from school.

3:15pm - the kiddos are home from school. hooray!!! they do their home work and grab a little afterschool snack.

4:30pm - julian has a little friend over to play and milla and i listen to records and have a living room dance party while gemma bird sleeps.

5:00pm - milla watches her favorite cartoon eloise and plays with her pet shops while i sit on the front porch working on the new clothing line and papa bird starts dinner. (he likes to cook.)
