michelle phillips born holly michelle gilliam, on june 4, 1944, is a singer/songwriter, actress. most widely known for her lengthy part as a member of the mama's and the papa's. she is the last surviving original member of the group. in 1962, at the age of 18, she married john phillips, before the formation of the band. she gave birth to a daughter chynna phillips in 1968. the couple divorced in 1970. phillips went on to date several big named 'hollywood' men and was also known to break a lot of their hearts. she was gorgeous, blessed with natural beauty, talented and had the incredible style.
