the lovely farrah fawcett lost her battle to cancer this morning.

she was a beauty and an icon. we love you farrah!

 

DEAR DAD...

i love my dad oh so much!!!

here are some great photographs of him from back in the day.

i LOVE how the first photo shows someone passing him a joint. haha! amazing.

HERE'S JUST A FEW THINGS I LOVE ABOUT MY DAD...

- he used to let me stay up late to watch the monkees.

- he let me eat big macs.

- he has a HUGE gun collection and lets me shoot them.

- i inherited his incredible taste in music.

- he's seriously funny! has THE best dry sense of humor ever!

- he takes me on motorcycle rides!

- we can talk and talk for hours and never get bored!

unfortunately i didn't get to spend the day with my dad, but

if i did, i would have made him heart shaped burgers for sure!

HOT AS HE**!

so my air conditioner decided to stop working last night. yuck.

besides being 90 degrees inside of my house, i could not even think about working, let alone doing anything remotely productive..

i spent the night reading and tossed & turned until 5:30am. pout.

but this afternoon, my savior, the a/c man came to my rescue and now i'm cool as a cucumber and ready to start my work load.

i am in search of this naughty sign.

i think it is hilarious and need it somewhere in my home.

i adore this little plush deer from follow the white rabbit.

i am obsessed with the black apple and will be buying a few prints for my house.

she is so inspiring. i can draw, but i can't paint and she makes we want to try.

i want this ring. *hint-hint* so damn cute.

and lastly...i adore this little vintage suitcase kitty cat bed.

but it comes with a hefty price tag, so i think i'm going to try to diy this one.

(.....isn't it precious?!.....)

okay, enough wishing and wanting. i really do need to get to work. i will say that i am a little discouraged about selling on eBay again until my new site is up. it seems like the company has really gone to sh*t, pardon my bluntness, the feedback system is a joke now, the best match and the out of the roof sellers fee's. i am wondering if maybe i should give etsy a try??...hmmm.
