BABY BIRD: 34 WEEKS.

34 weeks... ahhh! i can't believe how fast these weeks are going by. i probably shouldn't be wearing horizontal stripes, as is accentuates all muh curvy bumps, but i couldn't resist. i just love this little vintage dress and wanted to wear it at least once before i put it in the bleubird shop. i've been taking it easy this week and am on my "non-official" maternity leave. the mister and my assistant have taken over bleubird vintage until after this little bird arrives. i'm still doing what i can here and there. i can't stay away completely but it is nice knowing that if i don't feel up to it, someone else is there to get things done.

oh and for those who have been asking about the little birds name. i have decided to wait and see her little face before i decide 100% fully on her name. we have still have the same one in mind that we love, but every once in awhile i start to doubt it a little bit, so i'd hate to make the big announcement and then end up changing the name after she's born. sorry to disappoint but she'll be here soon.

i have been a busy mama bird, running around the house trying to get everything done before baby bird arrives. cleaning and organizing and sewing and making last minute purchases for this tiny girl has occupied most of my time. i managed to squeeze in a little shoot before dinner the other day of the 33 week old bump. it's been wet and rainy around here lately so i was happy to break out my favorite hunter wellington rain boots.

BABY BIRD: 32 WEEKS.

yes, i know... i skipped week 31. i'm sorry. but let me tell ya, it's tough growing a little baby bird. this third trimester has kinda knocked me off my feet these past couple of weeks. i am so behind on everything, so uninspired at times and have had a major case of bloggers block. have any of you other moms to be experienced a similar thing? hopefully i will get some of my creative mojo back soon because it's just no fun being uninspired and feeling blah. but on a brighter note i have been making a bit of progress on my to-do list with the help of my "almost" husband and some good friends. i am excited about that.

my tummy is HUGE! seriously... it's so big. i know that it got this big with my other two kiddo's but i guess this time around has gone by so quickly that it just seems like it shouldn't be this big yet. silly, i know. aaaand i have still not worn a single piece of maternity clothing!!! yay me. i am determined to keep going until this little birdies arrival. it just goes to show that you can still get away with looking cute while pregnant and not have to shell out hundreds of dollars for a new maternity wardrobe. we're getting so close to the big day! i can't believe my little girl will be here next month. holy sheet! that's so crazy.

BABY BIRD: 30 WEEKS.

another week has gone by and i'm starting to get a little nervous about having everything ready for this little one in time. luckily a very close friend of mine has offered to help out. i think i might take her up on her offer very soon. the sweltering hot summer days have begun and i'm not going to lie, it's miserable with all of the extra baby weight. oh and the pressure, holy sheet it's uncomfortable and no fun. luckily i will get to spend a few hours of each day in the pool. it's a giant relief and i may get a little tan on this baby bump of mine. i am so anxious to meet this tiny person. i want to hold her and kiss her and hug her and just stare at her. i am so ready!
