fall is finally here in texas and thankfully the evenings are starting to bring cooler temperatures. it's still warm enough to dress in short sleeves but some days, if you're lucky, you will need a sweater when the breeze picks up. tonight was one of those nights and we decided to have dinner in the park to enjoy it. we packed up some blankets, picked up our dinner and headed to memorial park which is near our house. we ate pulled pork sliders, olives and goat cheese, couscous salad, orzo pasta and strawberry shortcake. sailor loved being outside on the blanket observing the world around him. the kids played tag and the adults shared a cold cider beer. it was fun.
i just love this time of year.
