SUNDAY'S CAKE - ON A MONDAY.

today's cake was chosen by today's birthday girl which just so happened to be ME. i chose a fresh peach tatin cake from this wonderful book and aubrey made it for me all by himself while plum and i were out getting birthday pedicures. it was his first cake from scratch and he did an excellent job. 

this morning i was greeted with coffee and croissants in bed, along with homemade cards and some very thoughtful gifts from the sweetest husband and the most adorable kiddos around. they know me so well.

i know i say this every year, but this was the best birthday yet. these guys sure know how to make a girl feel special. aaaand thank you for all of the birthday love on instagram!!!
