we are slowly making progress on this house that we call home. we plan on staying put until next year. the baby is coming in october and we have the holidays shortly after that, so it makes sense for us to make this place a home until we decide that it's time to move on. i have been heavily inspired by dutch and swedish homes lately. the crisp white walls with big bursts of color. when we move i am excited to dive into the world of pretty wallpaper. a wall here and there, not the whole shebang. exciting stuff.
this is our kitchen. well, a piece of our kitchen. that wall used to be turquoise if you can remember. i fancy the white. just a simple coat of paint really transformed this space. i hung some old crocheted pot holders up last night that i found over the weekend. (ooh, i found so many wonderful treasures. i will share soon.) i kinda love them. aubrey is not so sure. what do you think?
