bits + pieces... of yesterday. {a friday ritual.}
there was a whole lot of fun to be had yesterday afternoon... we finished school a little early and decided to make a giant fort in the living room. it was gemma's first real fort experience and she loooved it! the kids brought some of their favorite toys and stuffies inside, then stocked up on plenty of snacks. all three of them played in their new special hide out for hours. three hours to be exact. totally content. even the naughty kitty was invited to the party. it was pretty wonderful. i snapped some photos and got to enjoy a little relaxation time in the next room. i stretched out on the couch and listened to the giggles and funny conversations. it was the best! fort building is good for the soul. xo.
