eight months. one week. old.

this has been a very busy week for this little birdie. she's officially truckin'. she is crawling everywhere and is quite fast. it's a silly little crawl. she uses the with one knee down and one foot up method. haha. so she kinda looks like a little spider baby. i'll have to post a video for you guys one day. the house is not fully baby proofed as of yet, but the rooms where she spends most of her time are. we're hoping to have the rest of the house ready for her this weekend but boy, it's a lot of work trying to find new homes for furniture pieces and things. as difficult as it may be you gotta do what you gotta do when you've got a curious bambino.

oh and she's also doing this...

isn't it a tad bit early for standing? she started this new trick this past week and she's gotten the hang of it pretty quick. she can now pull herself up to standing on anything and everything. she gets really proud of herself and starts clapping once she gets up and then falls down on her bottom after a few seconds and laughs and claps some more. it is too adorable. she's now trying to stand up without holding onto anything. it's a little scary because her favorite place to do this is in the middle of the living room on the hardwood floors and she has fallen quite a few times. she has a few tiny bruises on the little legs from her frequent spills. baby birdie battle wounds as we like to call them.

she's a hoot! oh and how cute is her little dress?! it's hands down my favorite little ensemble of the moment. my sweet friend karen over at misha lulu sent it over for her along with a few other adorable outfits for her and milla plum. they are all incredibly cute! her new collections are some of my favorites.
