twenty five. weeks. old.
little bird just keeps on growing. like a weed. her eyes are still bright blue so i'm hoping she'll keep them. she's starting to talk to herself, a lot... "BOOL BAH BLU DA GUH BOW." it's so cute. i could listen to those sweet sounds all day long. (she bonked her little head right before these photos. but no tears. tough baby.)

little miss gemma bird is SIX MONTHS OLD!!! can you believe it? that was quick! these precious baby days are just zoomin by. i'm trying to enjoy each and every one of them. i'm making her baby food now with my beaba baby cook... it's one of my new favorite things. i made her apples and plums and she just loved it. she's still nursing like a champ but needs some real food to keep that little tummy full. let's see... what else can i tell you about the little birdie... she's a giggle monster. she giggles at most anything. she's also starting to mimic things that she sees. i pop my mouth and make a little sound and she trys to do it. it's darling. she's still working on that whole getting around on her own thing. not crawling yet, but she can sure get somewhere if she really wants to. she is one determind baby bird. she loves her ergo baby carrier. i really haven't used the stroller much since she's been born. it's just easier to wear her. she's getting really good at self entertaining. i can put her down on the floor with some little blocks and things and she will play by herself for a good solid half an hour. it's really nice when i need to get things done like saaaay blogging. love this girlie!

footnote: i've had several comments and emails asking where my voting button for topbabyblogs has gone. i just wanted to let you all know that i withdrew my blog from that site. nothing against it, it was just no longer for me. but i did meet some very lovely people and friends while i was there. but thanks so much for your votes and support. you guys rock! xo.
