my breakfast: freshly baked berry muffins & mothers milk tea.
just let me start this post off by saying today was much better than yesterday. :) thank you to all of you who left such sweet comments regarding yesterdays post. this morning the baby bird woke me up at 6:30. the house was quiet. she and i took advantage of the still, peaceful casa and spent our time together listening to records and she watched me get some sewing done. (yes, i finally got in some time with my machine.) it felt so good! then we made some mixed berry muffins for breakfast, well i made them, but she kept me company. the kiddos woke up to the sweet smells and ran down stairs to find out what mama made and were pleased as pie to see delicious muffins for breakfast.
we had some really sweet packages show up on our door step this afternoon. the lovely jennifer of sophie & lili sent the bird her very own little gemma doll. it's adorable. THANK YOU JEN!!!
we also recieved some super duper cute little vintage dresses. one from the sweet as can be lishyloo (THANK YOU SO MUCH!) and the others are from croatiakidsvintage. the bird's vintage dress collection is growing pretty quickly and i couldn't be happier.
i plan on spending the evening eating pumpkin pie (it's baking in the oven now) with my little family and doing more sewing.
it was such a lovely day.
