today's lunch: a quick fresh mozzarella, avocado, roma & mandarine sweet tomato salad with balsamic drizzle. so yummy!

happy friday everybody! to tell you the truth, friday is kind of like any other day for me during the summer time. the kiddos aren't here (only 18 more days til they return!!!) and i create my own schedule so monday feels like friday to me. but i am quite excited that the misters dad, aka soon to be grampie, is coming down to stay with us for the weekend. he is seriously the nicest man alive and i cannot wait to spend some time with him.

holy schmokes i am in love... orla kiley's autumn winter line is to die for cute! i want it all. wish i could put a few pieces on the baby registry. just kidding... but seriously adorable dresses, coats and handbags. i am for sure eyeing a couple of pieces that i may splurge on for a little "after baby" self reward...
i mean i totally deserve it right?!

34 weeks... ahhh! i can't believe how fast these weeks are going by. i probably shouldn't be wearing horizontal stripes, as is accentuates all muh curvy bumps, but i couldn't resist. i just love this little vintage dress and wanted to wear it at least once before i put it in the bleubird shop. i've been taking it easy this week and am on my "non-official" maternity leave. the mister and my assistant have taken over bleubird vintage until after this little bird arrives. i'm still doing what i can here and there. i can't stay away completely but it is nice knowing that if i don't feel up to it, someone else is there to get things done.

oh and for those who have been asking about the little birds name. i have decided to wait and see her little face before i decide 100% fully on her name. we have still have the same one in mind that we love, but every once in awhile i start to doubt it a little bit, so i'd hate to make the big announcement and then end up changing the name after she's born. sorry to disappoint but she'll be here soon.
