CAT FOR SALE! ...okay not really, but i am really starting to think about it. my adorable ragdoll kitty cat, lennon, has been one very bad kitty. he's always been a bit of an asshole. he's lazy, he wines and cry's all day and demands attention. he has zero respect for other peoples things, for example he will sit on anything that he shouldn't be sitting on: freshly cleaned laundry, on top of the record player, the records, the kitchen table, the counters, printers, the keyboards, the coffee table, pretty much any flat surface and he's there. he'll squeeze his way into tight spaces knocking down anything in his path. he has broken many of my little deer and fawn figurines along with the one in the picture above. he knocks over glasses of water, vases with flowers, you name it. all of this is frowned upon of course, but as of lately he has been all sorts of naughty...
he's been PEEING ON MY SHOES, which is a serious NO NO! and his new thing is the kitchen rug or floor. i do not find this is amusing what so ever and have been putting him on some major time outs hoping that he will learn his lesson. so far he doesn't get it and i don't know what to do. some have told me that hes jealous of the baby but that just seems a little silly to me. others say he's trying to get attention but this cat gets heaps of attention. others say he could have a bladder infection which seems a little odd but i guess it could be true and then some say that it could be his age... he is 11 after all. i just don't know what to do but this bad behavior needs to stop or else i'm kicking him to the curb. it's just a matter of time and he'll be peeing on the baby. grrrrs...
anyone have any advice, experience or knowledge for this desperate bad kitty owning mama? it would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.
