so, i think i'm nesting...already. could it be? me thinks so. all i want to do is transform myself into an interior designer and re-do everything. i want to lighten and brighten every room. i want color, i mean big bright colors! it looks like the boy (aka: papa smurf) has his work cut out for him. i want to paint all the walls, i want a new couch and new arm chairs, i want to paint my (now gray kitchen cupboards) bright white, i just want it all sunshine and happiness around here.
my house seems kind of dark even though we have a ton of windows and i really think it's all in the paint. here are some spaces that are really inspiring my recent nesting habits...
aren't they all so lovely and inspiring?! i have a very seventies style home with hints of the 50's & 60's and i want to keep it that way, just a bit more color and a few fun nooks and crannies. i have a long to do list started for the bleubird nest and am very excited to take on big weekend projects to get this place all jazzed up before the arrival of the little bird.
speaking of the little bird... we have an ultra sound this evening! whoo-hoo!!!! i'm so excited and nervous all at the same time. the day to take peek at the little goods is finally here. i will of course share the big news as soon as we get home!
