today was filled with happy! i went thrifting this morning...it wasn't the best thrift trip but i did find some super cute tea cups for my tea cup collection, a second pair of minnetoka lace up fringe moccasins and some more ball jars for cute little things like vintage buttons, spools of thread & mini reeses peanut butter cups. i'm also designating one of them for change & extra money that i can stash away in there to save up for my dream chair...and guess what?! i won the auction for the 50's formica vintage table & chairs!!!! yippie! i'm so excited, i just can't hide it! now i just have to drive 3 1/2 hours to pick it up. ha! but i am so so soooooo happy. i've been searching for about 6 years now and i finally got it!!!! definitely worth the long drive.
i seriously think i've got rachel's nesting bug, although her's is for good reason, mine...not so much. i have been so inspired and on this creative & productive kick. a good thing for sure & i hope it never stops. one more little note before i go...i've been on the hunt for new additions to my pyrex collection.
these ones are oh-so pretty. i love the colors. source.
once i pick up my new table & chairs, i plan on giving my kitchen a major face lift. i'll be sure to post pictures so you can see. yay!
